how are the messages organized? are they displayed in order of receipt or by contact? and does it show incoming aswell as outgoing on the same screen?

austin, you have the option of displaying them in chronological order, or in conversation order, where a string of comments with the same person are “threaded” as if you were looking at an instant messenger client on a computer.

hi. thanks for the site. i currently have the samsung r355 but i’m not happy with the fact that it will only hold about 120 ingoing/outgoing text messages. do you know how many, approximately, the finesses holds? i have about a week left before i can return mine to walmart and i’m trying to figure out which phone to replace it with. i really like the info i’ve read here and other places about the finesse, even though it’s costly. thanks for any help you might be able to give me!

Hi Cathy, sorry I missed your one week deadline. I no longer have this model, so I don’t know how many texts it holds. Maybe someone else here can answer…
