I’m not sure I understand your question. This model DOES have a qwerty keyboard that pops up on the touch-screen in messaging situations.

this phone seems great except i can’t understand why there isn’t a qwerty keyboard. couldn’t they have used a qwerty keyboard graphic for messaging purposes as easily as showing the standard keyboard…since either would just be a display on the touch screen? is there another model coming soon like this one but with a qwerty keyboard?

Jessi, sorry I missed your question. Did you get this figured out? Basically, there isn’t any software. All you can do through USB with this model is to transfer files to and from the MicroSD card within the phone.

thnx for ur response! i did have one last question, i bought a usb cord but its kind of useless since it didnt come with any software to install to use for my phone, so is there any cd or something i should buy? or anything u would recommend on how to use the usb?

Hi Jessi,
1. I have no idea bout the battery life announcement, I never had that problem. It must be a setting somewhere within the phone, but I’m not sure where.
2. search ebay for “samsung finesse usb.” That should turn up the right cable to use. If not that, try Samsung Jack USB – the cable should be the same.
3. I never did have any luck getting games onto teh phone, but you might want to try a technique I’m writing a little bit about right now, and will be posting on my blog on Friday afternoon. I’ll be posting it at pbush14.wordpress.com

Hi thanks for ur review! it made me buy this phone! i just have a few questions!
1)when i make a call from my phone there is an automated voice that tells me how much battery life i have, its soo annoying! and i cant figure out how to take the voice off and just let me call normaly! 2) what specific usb cord and memory card do i have to buy for this phone? 3) how do i put games on the phone? since it didnt seem to come with any preloaded ones

I just got the Straight Talk service and it is so wonderful! Ok so times are tough and I was spending over a hundred dollars a month on my phone bill and I just couldn’t do it anymore. So I got Straight Talk and I pay only 45 dollars a month for unlmited texting, talking, and data. ITS JUST UNBELIEVEABLE! I can’t imagine anyone doing anything else. The service is great because its on the verizon network and the phones are wonderful as well! First off – there is no contract so if you need to stop using your phone… BAM its all good. I can’t believe I didn’t know about Straight Talk last year… I HIGHLY SUGGEST looking into it!
